Strength

My dad has always told me – Anything worth doing is worth doing well. That is definitely true in the Lord’s work. A perfect God deserves a perfect gift. There are times, however, in the Christian walk when it becomes difficult to maintain the fire.

20And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God--my God--will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
1 Chronicles 28

King David knew that the work before his son was going to be difficult. He also knew from experience that it would be difficult to maintain the enthusiasm for the task as time wore on. His advice to Solomon was simple – do the work. He had been chosen by God to do a great work and God was not going to leave him hanging.

We serve the same God that David and Solomon did and He still calls out people to do His great works. We have the promise of God that He will never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5). Our charge is simple – Do the Work. God will supply the means.

Don’t get discouraged worrying about the problem - focus on the promise and accept the strength and provision that it contains.

We serve an AWESOME GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

26It is an honor to receive an honest reply
